Monday

We are looking at position and direction this week in Maths. Firstly, we are going to learn how to read the coordinates in the first quadrant on the grid.

Tuesday

We are having another look at the first quadrant today, with some more fluency questions and then some reasoning and problem solving. Use my modelled examples to help you if need it. 

Wednesday

Now we are going to look at extending the grid to look at four different quadrants - these will now include negative numbers in the coordinates. Work your way through the PowerPoint and then the worksheet, using the poster to support you.

Thursday

Use the helicopter challenge sheet to reinforce your learning of the four quadrant coordinates from yesterday.
