Each week your child will bring a reading skills book home on a Monday. Please read this book at home 3 times and sign their green reading record before the book is collected in on Friday. Reading with them at home alongside the reading sessions they have at school will really help develop their reading skills.
Help me learn my number bonds and doubles
As part of the Early Learning Goal for Maths, children are required to know number facts such as number bonds and doubles facts. We have attached links to some good songs and videos to support this learning.

Count with me
Like in Nursery count anything and everything with me, but this time I can count further! How many cars are on my street? How many books are in my bedroom?
Extend their learning by asking them to recognise numbers. Which numbers can they spot in the house? on the way to school? in their book?
