Maths
I would like you to go on a treasure hunt for Maths today. Can you go around your house and find:
1 thing that is blue.
2 things that you can wear.
3 things that smell nice!
4 things that you can play with.
5 things that you can eat.
Have fun and remember to count carefully! I'd love to see a photo of everything that you collect. Please remember to put everything back where it belongs after too!
Topic
We have been learning about the four different seasons and the differences between them - so far we have learnt about and experienced Autumn and Winter together in Reception. Below is a video to watch about the different seasons we have every year to help you remember what we have learnt.
After you have watched the video, can you draw a picture of what our world looks like in the season of Winter. What kinds of colours will you need to use? What kinds of things might you see outside in the Winter time? Do the trees have leaves on them? Do we see lots of flowers growing? Or do you think you will draw bare trees and snow on the ground? Look out of your window to see what you can see and draw!
Please remember to email photographs of your work to l.metcalfe@reevyhill.llat.org.uk - I love to see what you are getting up to whilst we can't be together in school!
