Welcome

Welcome to Reevy Hill Primary School.

Hello!

I'd like to welcome you to our school and our website. I am proud to share with you some of our achievements so far in what is a never-ending journey to be the best we can be for our children, our families and the community.  We work closely with local safeguarding partners (West Yorkshire Police, BBEC, Children's Social Care) to provide a safe and inclusive environment for children to learn. Through our curriculum, all pupils learn how to stay safe in and out of school and online.   At Reevy Hill you will find happy, safe, friendly, enthusiastic and ambitious children.  We celebrate being proud of who you are and push all our children to be the best version of themselves through our core values: Self regulation, Resilience, Respectfulness, Honesty, Kindness & Gratitude . Everyone associated with the school understands that value of reading and how it links with wider achievements. At Reevy Hill our love of reading can be seen from the moment you set foot inside our building. We have a new outdoor lending library, a modern cosy indoor library, daily phonics and story times and our Reading Championship to celebrate books and reading. Our school was visited by Ofsted in February 2025, who recognised the many strengths of our school."Pupils thrive at the school, which provides them with a wide range of meaningful, responsible roles. These include membership of the pupil parliament and roles as prefects, recyclers and librarians. For some positions, pupils prepare formal applications. For other roles, they are democratically elected. Mental health ambassadors present information on mental health and well-being to their peers in assembly. These varied roles prepare pupils well for being positive contributors to society."

We warmly welcome visits to the school by appointment - please call the school office on 01274 677549.
