Special Educational Needs and Disability
SENCO: Miss Becky Gibson
At Reevy Hill, we pride ourselves on being an inclusive school with equal opportunities and excellent support for all pupils.
OFSTED (February 2025) - "The school has effective systems for identifying the needs of pupils with SEND as early as possible. It involves parents and pupils in the development of support for pupils’ needs. Pupils with SEND access the same ambitious curriculum as their peers. The school’s ‘hub’ provides personalised support in a well-designed environment for a small number of pupils with more complex needs."
We work closely with outside agencies to support our pupils including Educational Psychologists, Bradford SCIL Team, Mental Health Support Team, Paediatricians/Consultants and Speech and Language Consultants. In 2025, we received the Healthy Minds Chartermark Gold Award for our continued excellent work supporting our pupils with their emotional well-being and mental health. We are also a Mental Health Champion school.
If you have any concerns about your child's learning needs, please make an appointment to see Miss Becky Gibson, our Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO), by contacting the school office or contact via email on b.gibson@reevyhill.llat.org.uk.
