Special Educational Needs and Disability

At Reevy Hill, we pride ourselves on being an inclusive school with equal opportunities and excellent support for all pupils.

OFSTED (October 2019) - "Pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities are supported well. Teachers believe strongly that all pupils must achieve to the best of their ability. Teachers identify any learning needs early. They adapt the curriculum to meet each pupil’s needs. Leaders ensure that pupils with SEND have full access to all extracurricular activities."

We work closely with outside agencies to support our pupils including Educational Psychologists, Bradford SCIL Team, Mental Health Support Team, Paediatricians/Consultants and Speech and Language Consultants. In 2023, we received the Healthy Minds Chartermark for our continued excellent work supporting our pupils with their emotional well-being and mental health. We are also an Attachment Aware and Mental Health Champion school.

If you have any concerns about your child's learning needs, please make an appointment to see Miss Lamb, our Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO), by contacting the school office.

Our SEND Policy, Information Report and Accessibility Plans are available below -

There is also lots of information on Bradford Schools Online including details of the support services available for parents with children who have an SEND need.
