Hi Year 2

Here is your English work for the week. This work is available as a pack from the school office (see below).

Monday 8th February 2021

LO: To form and discuss your own opinions.

Claude in the City: Part 2

Rewatch Part 2 of the story.

Put some of your ideas into sentences.

After thinking about your favourite part of the story. Write a description of your favourite part. Remember to include adjectives and your punctuation!

If you want too, you can also do a drawing underneath your description to match your chosen part of the story.

Tuesday 9th February 2021

LO: To plan your adventure story for Claude.

Try and recall some events which took place in Claude in the City: Part 2.

Sequence the events below on the line.

We are going to be writing our own Claude adventure stories.

To do this we need to think about the setting. For example:

  • The seaside
  • Space

Where could your Claude adventure story be set?

What disaster could happen during the day?

How does Claude save the day?

Your task is to plan your own Claude adventure story. If you can, think about more than one idea for each setting, disaster and how Claude saved the day.

I have added my example.

Use the template below. It is available in the home learning pack or you can create your own!
